THE WORK OF THE PARTNERSHIP
INTRODUCTION The work of the Partnership, in general, covers the areas of tackling unemployment, promoting community development and addressing the needs of young people. This involves us in a wide variety of activities, such as helping someone set up a small enterprise, or providing support for a local group who are establishing a crèche or assisting an adult returning to education.
The Partnership employs a staff team of over 25 people. This team works collaboratively with a range of other interests – board members, committees, volunteers, community groups, state agencies – to develop the Partnership's work programmes in the areas of Education, Childcare, Employment, Enterprise, Adult Education and Community Development.
The work is summed up in a diagram which you can find here.
